InSB Brainstorm came and went, held this past Friday November 18th, with many ideas flooding this room. We gathered at the new yet iconic MTCC Building on IIT’s main campus, designed by Rem Koolhaas / OMA. An inspiring space for an inspiring session.
The purpose was the meeting of Executive and Advisory Boards, in their majority, to collectively think of the future of the school, and what it could (will) become.

We shared ideas, hashed out some strategies moving forward, and ultimately realized that there is much work ahead to truly have the impact we hope to have in the industry.
What we know is in place now is not truly fostering the professionals we need today, especially in Architecture.
So, how do we foster the next generation? An InSB graduate? A true collaborator, while still a leader?

Keywords came up like “leading”, “evolving”, “integrated”, “living”, “empathetic”, “transparent”…
Much activity, papers, and sharpies around the table.

Next few steps cover from the corporate to the administrative, plus finalizing the organization, program, and tying up the details for the upcoming InSB Summer Symposium. Stay tuned.
